Guidelines for Proposals
Beta Iota Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International invites active Beta Iota chapter members to submit proposals for research studies in the area of nursing practice, education or administration. Graduate students, who are Beta Iota active members, are eligible for funding. A maximum of $4000.00 will be awarded to one or more researchers, depending on the funds requested and quality of the proposal. The recipients will be recognized at the Beta Iota Chapter’s Founders’ Day Program held each Autumn.
The Research Committee of Beta Iota Chapter reviews grant proposals once each year. The deadline for submission of proposals has been extended to 5:00 PM, September 21, 2016. Funding begins at the Founders’ Day Program (late October each year). The grant materials must be submitted electronically to Dr. Elaine Miller, Chair of the Beta Iota Research Committee. Her email address is Elaine.Miller@uc.edu. If you have any questions, please contact Dr. Miller by email.
Proposals will be reviewed by members of the Beta Iota Research Committee and rated according to predetermined weighted criteria.
