Rita PicklerJulie Holt,
RN, MSN,
is the Assistant Vice President, Professional Practice, Patient Services at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. Prior to this, Holt was Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer at Mercy Health Anderson Hospital and served as chairperson of the Mercy Health Chief Nursing Officers Council. She also served as the first Chief Nursing Officer at West Chester Medical Center.

Holt has more than twenty years of nursing management experience.
She began her career as a nurse at University of Cincinnati Hospital in the neuroscience unit. She joined the Health Alliance in 1996 as a clinical manager for Jewish Hospital, and worked nine years in leadership positions at that hospital, including serving as Director of Patient Care Services. Holt moved to the Drake Center in December 2005 as Vice President of Patient Services and Chief Nursing Officer.

Holt holds a Master of Science degree in Nursing Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati. Her professional affiliations include membership in the American Organization of Nurse Executives, the American Association of Critical Care nurses, and the Ohio Action Coalition Steering Committee (charged with implementing the IOM Future of Nursing report). She is involved at the Greater Cincinnati Health Council, is President of the Greater Cincinnati Nurse Executives and has served on boards including the Ohio Organization of Nurse Executives and Cancer Family Care. Holt has been a member of Beta Iota Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International for over 25 years.
