Beta Iota is forging paths in research funding and knowledge dissemination, developing collaborative efforts with other chapters and organizations, and designing ways to creatively recognize nursing excellence. Beta Iota was chartered May 21, 1972, as the 55th chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International and is one of five local chapters that comprise the Southern Ohio Northern Kentucky (SONK) Consortium and located in Region 9.
